Begoña de Benito is the Director of External Relations and CSR at Ecoembes, an environmental organisation that works to reduce the environmental impact of household packaging through ecodesign and recycling. She joined said organisation in February of the year 2013. She is in charge of coordinating the organisation’s relationships with civil society, governmental offices, governments, European agencies, and companies.
She holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as a Master in Economics and Business Management from IESE University of Navarra.
She has more than 20 years’ experience as a senior executive with sales and marketing management experience in the consumer goods sector, having worked for Continente, Carrefour, Ahold, and DinoSol—in this latter company, she was also a member of the Executive Board. Likewise, she was the sales and marketing director of the Spanish internet start-up Alice.es—a former marketplace that sold food and consumer goods.
