Background

Degree in Biological Science by the University of Salamanca, Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering by the University of the Basque Country.

Since the year 1999 he is the Project Manager at Ihobe, the Basque Government’s Environmental Management Agency in the Ecoefficiency/Ecodesign and Waste departments. During this period he has carried out work related to the design, development and management of initiatives such as:

  • Ihobe-Line environmental consultancy service for businesses and citizens
  • Ihobe’s Environmental Observatory: Surveillance service and technological antenna for environmental matters
  • Circular Economy Demonstration Projects
  • Legal, technical and support instruments, and publications on waste management, in particular on construction and demolition waste
  • Legal, technical and support instruments, and publications on Sustainable Building
  • Criteria for green public procurement and associated instruments in construction projects.
