Cristina Rodríguez

SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER

Cristina Rodríguez is the Sustainability Manager at EROSKI, an organisation she joined in 2017. She is in charge of developing its strategic positioning and technical support regarding the environment and social action. The projects she leads includes the goal of 100% ecodesign of EROSKI own-brand packaging by 2025.

Cristina graduated in Chemical Engineering, specialising in Environmental Engineering from the Bilbao School of Engineering and has an MSc in Water & Wastewater Engineering from Cranfield University (United Kingdom). For the last ten years, she has been working in the environmental field, both for the public sector (Cuadrilla de Añan,a Álava) and as a consultant (GreenDelta, Germany). She has worked with the  “Global LCA Data Access” (GLAD) network UN Environment Programme and produced several projects for the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and the European Union’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), among others.
